Our primary focus is producing consistent, accessible hyper-local journalism through the Good Morning Quincy WA Newscast and WelcomeToQuincyWA.com — platforms dedicated to covering local government, schools, public safety updates, nonprofit initiatives, small businesses, and community events.

In a time when small-town news coverage continues to shrink, we are building sustainable local media infrastructure designed to strengthen civic awareness, increase participation, and preserve community identity.

Beyond local news, we also produce educational and family-centered podcasts that support men’s personal growth, father engagement, and children’s literacy, reinforcing our broader mission of strengthening families and communities.

The Fallible Man LLC is a locally owned, family-operated media company based in Quincy, Washington (98848), founded by David and Sarah Dowlen as a purpose-driven effort to strengthen connection, communication, and civic engagement within their hometown.
What began as a men’s personal development platform has evolved into a community-centered local news and media organization serving Quincy, George, Winchester, Crescent Bar, and the surrounding Columbia Basin region.

Today, our primary focus is producing independent, hyper-local news and community storytelling through:

  • Good Morning Quincy WA Newscast – a daily local news and update show covering weather, school activities, local government, public safety alerts, events, and community highlights
  • WelcomeToQuincyWA.com – a growing local news and information hub featuring in-depth stories, community features, business spotlights, and regional guides

 

Our mission is simple:

Provide consistent, accessible, community-focused information that strengthens local connection and participation.
In many rural and small-town communities, access to reliable, consistent local news is shrinking. We are building sustainable local media infrastructure designed to:

  • Increase awareness of city council, school board, and civic activity
  • Highlight local nonprofits, businesses, and community leaders
  • Promote local events and youth activities
  • Preserve community stories and identity
  • Encourage informed engagement rather than reactive commentary

Founders

Brent brings over 30 years of public speaking and communication experience, along with a background in enterprise technology, media production, and digital strategy. His strength lies in storytelling, clarity, and creating structured platforms that serve both audiences and community partners.

Sarah Dowlen is the co-owner and co-founder, playing an essential leadership role in strategy, operations, management and long-term vision. Together, they built The Fallible Man LLC as a values-driven family enterprise rooted in their 18+ years of living and raising their family in Quincy. Their commitment to this work is personal — they are building the kind of local information ecosystem they want their own family to rely on.
